Back to New Jersey and a busy schedule. A week always goes by so fast when you're at home, but we wouldn't trade it. Lots of time for family and friends, a mini bout with the flu, dining at restaurants that you can't find in Jersey, staying up late reading more adoption stuff and plenty of time to find a crib and make a baby wish list at Nordstrom. We were so overwhelmed with all the love and support that we've received through sharing our journey that it quite literally brings me to tears. We are truly blessed to know such wonderful people! That was all the fun stuff.. but now it's back to business.
As if the adoption funds and baby gear wasn't expensive enough there are a few home projects that we need to start and finish before we do the home study. So I guess it's a good thing that Eric is on nights the next couple of weeks. I can paint at work and then come home and paint some more! Literally. Painting is the least of my worries, but it would be nice to know that it's done!
Eric might pass out after reading this, but I'm finally going to change my last name (My drivers license and Military ID are having an identity crisis.) Plus it will make this process easier. And since in NJ you can't keep your maiden name as a second middle name I will mourn the loss via the blog. It only took over a year... :)
I suppose that's all for now. Back to paperwork! :) In the mean time if anyone has a great fundraising idea we would love to hear it!!
